iv'e just got a d box 2 and pluged it in but it don't know how to tune it in can anyone help. iv'e had a d box before but on that one on scan it had cable uk for the transponder on the new one it just got german names

Are you in the UK? What do you mean by a 'D box 2'? This forum is to help with Digital terrestrial receivers. In the UK that means Freeview boxes.

If its a cable box then they are tightly controlled by NTL/Telewest (soon to be Virgin) and you have to talk to them.

If its a satellite box then put a new post on the satellite forum - with more info.

If you explain a little more some one may be able to help but, frankly, I don't understand what you are trying to do with what.
