The picture on my screen is red. On my Magnavox RM8530 A 104. What causes this? Is it something I can fix myself or do I have to have it professionally repaired?, if so how much will it cost?

I solved this problem on mine when I found and resoldered the connections to a transistor on the little circuit board on the bottom of the green crt. The picture would return if I flexed the board, so I wiggled each component untill I identified the transistor.
