Bathroom Fan Isolation Switrch?

Hi help required please.

I am installing a fan in a bathroom with an isolator switch.

The customer wants the switch inside the bathroom. ( I normally always put it outside)

However having checked the regulations I can see no reason why it cant be,as long as it's not in zones 0,1 or 2.

I am aware of the 3m rule but as far as I can see this specifically applies to Socket Outlets only.

Also I intend to put it above 225cm, which also looking at the regs takes it out of any zones.

Can anybody clarify this for me.

many thanks
