First find out how to access the Start Up list in your Operating System - than deselect everything in it.
Consider then running a free Malware checker like Spybot.
Give serious consideration to using Google Chrome as an Internet Browser - it's much faster than IE.
There will be naughty software in your machine that you do not know about collecting information about your Browsing Habits - Spybot will remove it.
