Hi, I've bought a Beosound 9000 from a nice gentleman who gave me a fake pin code and has since buggered off, not replied to any emails of correspondance and left me with a piece of useless equipment. I can't get to use this lovely piece of machinery because I can't unlock it as its the Mk3 version and B&O won't help- can anyone help me out?

ed, I should add. I have tried to source a pin code from a mate who has a MK2 and it would seem pin codes are a new thing on 9000's and not interchangable. I have the same problem effectively anyway. I have mk3 brand new asking for pin code, I bought it from B&O store in australia and they want to charge me extra so I can get the pin code (or a master code). I certainly didn't sign-up to the B&O cognoscenti expecting that to use the machine for the first time I'd have to pay an extra $500 plus. I am searching for a master code that will unlock a machine in australia (and I understand the codes vary from country to country, B&O are smart hey). Did you find a solution?...rusty
