Artemide Tizio 35 Lamp - Bulb replaced, not working?

Hello,

I replaced the 35w bulb in my Tizio 35 table lamp and carefully reassembled but it is not working. Is there something I missed? It was purchased in '99.

Any tips?

as with all electrical things,you must check the source of supply first,is the fuse in plug ok? is there power to the switch?
is there power going to the lamp fitment?is the bulb ok?and you must use a test meter,or you will just go round in circles,it has to be one of these things i have mentioned,as scotty from star trek would say,you canny change the laws of physics captain:-)
