spin cycle has stopped working on zanussi 1400 7kg model?

the spin cycle has stopped working but everything else...i.e. wash cycle, drainage etc appear normal.

How can we fix this?

remove everything from the machine and then select a spin cycle.Does it spin OK?.Single heavy items or unbalanced loads might not spin.check filter is clean.could be worn out motor brushes
