air_ locked drain????

so kitchen sink has always drained slow and has now stopped completely, snaked the line all clear, the vent is a good eight feet away so i installed another one under the sink and still backing up instanly?? help???

Oh dear, sounds like the outlet pipe may be going against gravity. Call a plumber, one to two hours work and still cheaper than Stephen Hawkings!
