Since connecting this to Sony Bravia Full hd set have problems, programs not always recorded, sometimes appearing twice on list, and then entries layered behind one another. not sure how to get last update, set not always left on o/night.

You have a hard disk index corruption.
The easiest thing to do is to is MENU -> Record -> HDD Control -> Format.
You will loose all your recordings

Or you could:
. Locate an adapter for connecting a PATA HDD drive to a PC.
. Locate a PC and load humaxrw on to it.
. Learn how to use the line commands of humaxrw
. Locate a screwdriver and connect the hard disk inside the 9200T via the adapter to the PC
. Use humaxrw to fix the corruption
. Put the 9200T back together again
