Sony rdr-hxd 1065 left on standby. When powered up it shows "welcome" screen then all functions freeze. No response to remote or to pressing buttons on recorder. If power is switched off then on again after five minutes everything works OK. How to I fix problem?
I've got the same fault - holding the power button in for about 12 secs (there's a faint buzz after about 10, then the screen blanks and it re-boots) occasionally gets it working again, but not for long:-(
