My Panasonic TV model# PV-C2522-K does not turn on?

My TV does not turn on, the TV has no power. I've tried different outlets the power button on the TV and on the converter and nothing happens. The TV is only 18 months old and the warranty is was from Panasonic which is only one year.
Any suggestions on what it could be?

Thanks for your help

I followed Brian and Dean's advice, and fixed our Panasonic ct-32sx12 in one hour, including the trip to Radio Shack. Thanks to all who put their problem solving techniques on-line! One point, when you go to Radio Shack for the fuse, match the AMPs, not the Volts.

Thanks Again! Kim

Brian - although your post was in Dec 2004 - I just found it and you saved me a lot of $$. I have a Panasonic CT-32SX12 and one day it simply would not turn on. I checked the home circuit breaker and outlet - no problem - all other components worked. I called Panasonic - no help. I called a TV repair shop - they said most likely the power supply - cost would be $250 - $400. I decided to open the back and look for a loose connection - dangerous, but I was careful. Then I found your post - sure enough, the fuse on the circuit board right next to where the power cord attaches was blown. A trip to Radio Shack and I had 4 fuses for $2.40 (60 cents) each. I replaced the fuse and PRESTO! I saved $250+. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you.

My tv Just did the same thing

I took the back off and there is a fuse right where the power comes in . On mine that was the problem .

I hope that helps you

Brian
