I have checked the black micro switch, it did click when operated but the boiler did not show any sparks and did not ignite?

My caravan boiler is not clicking, hence the boiler will not start therforefore no hot water. I have put new battery in, still no go?

have w275 water heater myself at the bottom of the water pressure valve there is a black micro switch which controls the ignition from the batteries unscrew & open there is a switch which when pressed starts the ignition clicking at which point the gas should open the pilot light then the main gas valve should light ? ( but first check batteries) be carefull as main burners may start be ready to turn gas off if they do because no water is running through the boiler
