partitions?

Hi I had a problem with my desktop some time ago and a socalled friend came round and installed a partition and linux
unfortunately the linux program is not the best and i would like to get rid of the partition and the linux program but i dont know how to go about it without risking the main part of the pc i use. due to the partition my pc is only running on 256mb of physical memory and hence its almost slowing down to a standstill. please help

install a disc manager like Easus Partition manager which is free and delete the partitions that are not wanted. then increase the size of your fat32 or NT partition to fill the space. it will reboot and do its stuff and reboot again and you should be ok. it is very intuitive and not too techy, but make sure you save your valued stuff somewhere first.
