your more than likely right , see if you can the the right charger for it ,that is set at the right setting for that model of dell, you can get one on ebay, or at your market phone shop, go to the web site www.diditalkaos.co.uk. ask them there what charger you will need , they are very good there with their answers , and help full. if you go to the dell web site and look up the right model of charger that comes with your model of labtop, and wright dowm its amps and power settings , you will know what one to get , from ebay ect ,, good luck.
