How can i replace halogen lightbulb in a bathroom fitting?

We have halogen light fittings in the bathroom which are flush with the cealing. Can't replace the lightbulb in it just won't budge. Do you have any clever trick up your sleeve? Please help!

You should find a thin circular clip running around the bulb, inside the chrome ring that is flush with the ceiling. The thin clip is a spring. If you run a thin blade under it, it should pop out and you can then remove the bulb. Hope this helps.

before you start prising things out, check if the bulbs are gu10,s if they are,you just turn them anti-clock wise to remove,if they are 12volt transformer fed, they should be held in place with a round spring,
just remove the spring and the bulb will drop down
wear gloves to remove and refit bulbs,as the oil from your skin will contaminate the bulb and it wont last to long

this is a day light/time job, if i could not take out the bulb,i would take the fitting down, and then take out the bulb, the fitting is into the cealing, and has a silver /gold ring around the outside.of the fitting, you know what i mean, turn off all the power" get a flat screwdriver/flat knife.to prise the fitting away from the cealing, just a little at a time put the driver/knife under the sivler/gold ring plate, and prise it just a little at a time till the fitting comes away so you can get your fingers under the fitting, and work it down a little at a time , you will see a spring or catch on each side of the fitting , push together and the fitting will come free, you will see a little push on plug on the back of the light, to power the light, unplug it, and the fitting is free, you can take out the bulb then, you will know how to put it back then , but (make sure ALL the power if off ) when working on it and you will be fine , halogen lights get very hot and melt into the fittilg, thats why you cant get it out the normal way .
