How do I open a D/G window, handle broken and window locked?

How do I open a double glazed window with a broken handle and the window is locked. I have replaced the metal rails and handles on these types of windows, but I have to get the window opened first.
The question is how ?
Can you help please.

Handles are held on with 2 screws or rivets under cover plate bottom & behind handle top remove & turn lock with flat screwdriver in square in lock or just fit new handle.
