player is frozen in recovery mode.with an occasional flashed note "firmware problem" and is not recognised by computer

try up power it, lte the batteries run out, have no power in it for a day, charge it back up without turning it on, get to full charge again , and then turn it on , and see if it will free it from this mode,,
