I'm considering purchasing a Nokia D Box for use with my cable tv system in Dublin. I have heard on the grapevine that some modification will be necessary for it to work successfully, ( presumably to the audio stage). Can anyone enlighten me please?/

If you have a box from one of the UK cable companies beware as they do not sell them but only rent them as part of the subscription and so the only ones on sale must have come from a dodgy source. Second doesn't the SP in Ireland provide a box? I also reckon that just plugging a box in (even if it is compatible system) won't work as I suspect that the service needs to be enabed at the Central Office.
