Filling/pressure issue - Bosch Worcester CDI 28?

I have just seen that the pressure gauge is down at 0 and have attempted to fill it up in the correct recommended manner, three times. When the grey knob is turned you hear the water flow for about 3 seconds then silence with no movement in the pressure guage.

The boiler has been running on constant 24 hrs a day at 16 degrees c since October. It still is firing and heat is still comming from the rads, but no movement on the pressure gauge even if I increase the temp for five minutes.

Is there a filling fault?
&/or
Does the pressure gauge need replacing?

Any other suggestions?

Cheers Care free, I will give it a go when the weather is warmer as the boiler is in the garage.

If your boiler is currently working, don't add anymore water, you will most likely over pressure it leading to water expelling from the prv.

The pressure guage is attached to a plastic manifold (push fit with a retaining clip front right hand side), the hole behing the guage often gets blocked with debris from the system.
You need to empty the boiler, remove the pressure guage from the manifold, then poke a small screwdriver (or similar) into the hole behing where you removed the guage from and refit the guage. It should now correctly register pressure when you fill.
This is a common issue with the CDI
