triton opal shower turnd cold?

my triton opal shower goes cold for no reason the water pressure is the same (good) if i turn it off wait a few seconds turn on it works again for a short while then goes cold again. Please advise me what is causing this

the element has gone renew the shower its a 20 min job you will get a triton shower in b&q for £68
