My central heating works ok but when I come to run the hot water for a bath the light indicator (red) does not come on and also the water is cold.

It does not appear that the boiler is firing up when demand for hot water is required. Any one know what the problem may be & cost to fix it?

more than likely the hot water diaphragm needs replacing but also check micro-switch is working it is a fairly simple job but the cost depends on the plumber
