Beko WMA642W washing machine ?

Beko WMA642W washing machine powers off half way through a cycle. I come back to the washing machine and all the lights are off. no lights on the display. The machine hasnt done the full cycle. to get it to do anything I then turn it off and back on. I can then start any cyle again. but the same thing happens?

I tried re-setting it buy turning it to 90degree wash holdin in the sart button for 3 sec then turning it on, then selecting spin and holding in the start button for 3 seconds all the lights on the front flash (freeky) but then I have no idea what to do. i press the power button and it starts a cycle??

Do I need to Change Brushes??

SOLVED!!! for any one who has the same problem ive fixed it. I changed the brushes and cleaned out the drain pump. Neither were bad at all they both looked fine.

I then found that the adapter which connects the outlet pipe to the main sink drain was blocked up. I didnt pick it up first time as i only checked the pipe and that the water emptied from the washing machine empty pipe ok.

After removing the U bend i tested the machine and very little water emptied through the U bend under the sink, removed the machine pipe from the sink drain and put it in a bucket the water would pump out ok.
took all the sink wast pipes to bits and found the adapter was completely blocked. cleaned it all through as machine is working ok.

guess im lucky the machine cut out and the drain pump didnt burn out!!

Ive had more major troubles, got home tonight tried to start the machine and spin the clothes still in it too dry them. now all that happens is the machine spins the drum once then fills up a bit. nothing happens for ages although it sounds like its trying to empty? then it spins once starts to fill up again. Repeat!! I had to turn it off then open the door to umpty the water out with towels etc! other wise it would just keep filling up? why is it so screwed now. holding the cancel button does nothing? setting it to drain just repeats the same as above??

Yes, change the brushes (cheap and easy to do) and while you've got the machine in bits, clean any debris/stray coins/hairclips from the outlet pump. These two faults account for most wmc failures.
