the cycle dial on ym indesit washer/dryer spins by itself rather than staying on the setting i choose. I have two young children and cant do any washing!!

I have had this happen a number of times, it is usually because something is stuck in the filter.
If you look at the front of the machine there is a black circular filter cover at the front. undo it and remove anything that might be inside.

When the knob starts turning count the number of flashes from the red LED on the front of the machine. It will flash anumber of flashes, then pause and again do the same number of flashes. If it is flashing 8 times, then you need to replace the module. We stock it at £39.90+vat plus postage of £5+vat.
