First, check your volume control. Is it all the way down or mutted?
Increase the volume or un-mute as needed.
Double click the sound icon in the task bar.
Any cursor all the way down or any controll mutted?
Adjust the volume and un-mute as needed.
If it still don't work, in the controll pannel, open System.
Sellect the Material tab and the Periferals manager button.
Find "Sound, video and game controller".
If there is a red on yellow "!" there is a problem with the sound driver. ----> Reinstall your sound driver.
If there is a red X, the periferal is deactivated.
Double click the entry with the red X.
In the following dialog, at the bottom of the current tab, sellect "Use this periferal (activated)".
Click "OK"
Close the Periferal manager.
Click "OK"
You may need to reboot.
