The clock has not been wound for 3months. The chimes do not relate to the hour indicated on the hands. ie it may say 3o'clock but chime 8o'clock. How can I synchronize the hands with the chime. Nothing is broken. Clock cleaned & restored in last 12 months.

Start clock and when it strikes stop it.
Then
Remove the hands and refit them so they are correct to the hour.
