I can cancel the beeper by turning off the power for a few minutes, the machine starts when power switched back on but same fault (F1) comes up after running for a few minutes. Any suggestions ?
Yes read your user manual or search online for one. It will tell you that F1 is caused by a water leak in to the bottom tray activating the flood switch. Find out where the leak is coming from. Fix the leak then dry the lower tray and fault will go away.
