My Hyundai HPTN4200S had been showing green speckles/spots on the black areas of the screen image, but now there is no picture at all as such just a very dark outline of the image on a virtually black background. The sound is uneffected.

The major cause for lost pictures in TV is caused by a vertical circuit problem. This is caused by bad soldiering of connections on the vertical output IC. Get the PC board and inspect around the vertical IC of any bad soldier connections. You can also have a technician help you.
