How can I stop overflow running now new central heating boiler been fitted?

Overflow is constantly dripping but also runs fast when heating comes on and goes off. Checked ballcock and that seems fine???

is it hot water that comes from the f and e cistern?
if so there could be too much water in the cistern
or the pump could be pumping water back up the open vent pipe and into the cistern
