It looks like the capacitor at the switch has frazzeled. Its a PME271m does anybody know any more details on it I am struggling to get more details to order the replacement.
some sewing machines do have a noise suppressor at the switch,take it out and reconnect wires,changes are good it will work again

Bit confused about capacitor at the switch, if the capacitor has gone you can use the machine by discarding the capacitor but the only capacitor that would normally blow is the one in the foot control
