W100Fw creda simplicity 1000?

My Creda washing machine keeps overflowing on the rinse cycle.
When you start the wash cycle it fills with water and stops and then washes the clothes. Once the rinse cycle starts it initially fills with water and then shuts off and the drum rotates a couple of times and then it starts to fill again and then doesnt shut off until the drum is totally full and floods. any help would be appreciated
