Digital receivers are much fussier about the signal than analogue. It needs to be strong and of good quality.
First of all indoor or loft aerials often will not work with Digital Services without an amplifier. (Or indeed even with one.)
So assuming an outdoor aerial you need to get its alignment checked. If that fails you will need an amplifier, preferably of the mast-head type.
When you have fixed the antenna (aerial) problesm, do a rescan.
