Try this: Disconnect from mains for 10secs,switch on and allow guide to boot for several minutes. Then.......Go to MENU>SET-UP>HELP On HELP page press GREEN button.
At bottom first choose YELLOW button for a Software Revert-sometimes overnight software upgrades or Sky programme prompts upset box operation-rebooting to an earlier version sometimes clears these glitches. This option generally shouldn't delete your Library but if it does disappear then repeat the procedure and your Library should reappear and be accessible.
If this doesn't work to allow recording etc choose BLUE button to Format Hard Drive-this will delete your Library but will remove operational glitches and improve efficiency and speed. (Do this periodically maybe once a year or when box plays up seriously). Can cure a labouring hard drive that appears to be breaking down.
Good tip to improve box performance:Menu>Set-up>Customise TUTV. Switch off all TUTV channel downloads .... Especially Sky/Espn/ info data which seems to block guide loading on some channels.
