Beko door spring broken?

The left hand door spring has just broken on our Beko Model D3421FW dishwasher.
Q1. How do I release the lid - I have managed to push it backwards a small amount by moving the plastic clips at the rear but still can't remove it?
Q2. Once the lid is removed how do I remove the side panel to expose the broken spring?

Problem solved.
The lid is held by four plastic pins through keyhole slots. There are two release clips at the rear of the machine allowing the lid to be pushed backwards.
There are a few clearly visible short screws holding the side panel. Once these are removed the side panel is easy to remove exposing the door counter balance spring.
