Need to know what tools I need to remove the top portion of agitator. I took off the top cap with my hands. There are 3 (possilbe hidden screws) elevated plastic pieces and i cant tell if I need some time of a long screw or if it will pop out by just pulling hard between the top and bottom portion

Can't answer unless you tell what make & model you are talking about. There are dozens of different agitators.
