my tv is samsung one day child lock appeared on my screen it says enter pin but i dont have a pin as i have never used child lock on my tv the only way to get rid of the child lock sign is to turn tv off then after a while its back how do i get rid of it for goodi use the sky plus remote to watch all tv channels as its all put through my sky not normal tv thanks

You can hold lock button for 2 or 3 seconds then turn off the child lock.

i called the customer service hotline but no one's answering the phone.

Simply press "menu"followed by "play" or "stop"to select "general set up".Then press "forward". Use "play" or "stop" to select "child lock" followed by "forward". Child lock should now display "on". Press "play" or "stop" to select "off" and "forward" to make inactive.
