Sound but no picture off DVD (Model Samsung DVD 5600) Combi?

Having problems setting TV up to view a DVD - what am I doing wrong? Problem has arisen because instruction book belonging to DVD has been lost!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.
