i have to fit a by-pass valve to my new heating system, from flow to return to avoid a total shut down incase all rads are turned off, how near should it be to boiler what setting on valve, what is the easiest type to fit.

AS LONG AS ITS BEFORE ANY RADS ( JUST UNDER THE BOILER WHERE THE FLOW AND RETURN COME OUT MAKES LIFE EASYER) THEY ARE ALL EASY TO FIT THE INSTRUCTIONS WILL TELL YOU THE PRESSURE TO SET IT AT.

I dont want to shut rads down, i have thermostatic valves on rads except the bathroom which has a normal valve.
But according to the makers instructions a by-pass valve has to be fitted, incase accidentally all rads shut down at the same time whilst the heating is running and the by-pass open would let water circulate.Smudger
