What gap if any, is needed around a double glazed door frame? ?

I have had a set of French doors fitted and there is a gap above the door frame, up to the door lintel, of approx 20mms. Is this too large a gap? Advice much appreciated...

If it is an open gap, it needs to be filled with an appropriate sealer, which could be a proprietary expanding filler, obtainable from DIY stores, which, after setting, can be trimmed back with a suitable knife, & painted over after curing.

down to who measured up but 20mm isn't the worst I have seen.As long as its filled and sealed it shouldn't be an issue
