My Worcester 24i boiler won't maintain the water system pressure. I have tried to refill but on each occasion the pressure falls away to 0 bar within 10-20 seconds. I suspect a faulty pressure relief valve.
Is it sufficient to drain the boiler at the boiler drain point prior to removing the pressure relief valve?
Thanks for the reply, the boiler is in my static caravan, I will be there tomorrow and will check relief pipe for water discharging as you suggest. I am sure it will be the valve as there is no obvious leaks elsewhere in the system and the pressure drops so quickly.
As the pressure is zero will I lose much if any water from the system when I unclip the valve? it is filled with an anti-freeze solution as the caravan is empty and unheated during the winter months with the DHW drained.

If it is pressure relief valve, you will see water coming out of the relief pipe, If nothing coming out, leak elsewhere. Should be safe to unbolt, as no water pressure, you will always get a bit come out.

does water pour out the pressure release valve then?
