How do I change the light bulb in my Hitachi MSE23 microwave?

I assume the light bulb has blown as it doesn't work, but can't see how to remove it and there is no mention of this in the instruction book

you cant access it from inside the door. take the metal outer cover off (screws at the back) and get it from in there
