Where can I get a Matsui 1091X user manual (for free)?

What I actualy need is to know the ampage used on this model because I want to run it from a leisure battery that will be charged by a solar panel. Thanks

I reckon that your TV takes 2.5 amps at 12 volts then. If it is more then all that will happen is that your battery will run down faster.

Yipee! Found my original booklet. Unfortunaly all it says is 12V. Oh well no matter.

Thanks Terry

Cheers Terry. I am intending running it via the 12v socket, unfortunatly I can find no voltage plate (the tv is quite old you know :-} )
It says by the 12v input 2.5amps, But dont you think that is low for a colour tv?

Matsui is an own brand of DSG (Dixons/Currys/PC World/etc.). Have you tried them?

I have assumed that you are going to drive the set with a 12 volt battery. (If you are going to drive it via an inverter then then try a repost.) You don't say if is is designed to run on 12 volts that is it say has a 12volt input socket? If it does it should say what current (Amps) it takes at 12 volts on the "Voltage Plate". If it says Power (Watts) then devide that number by 12 (assuming a 12 volt battery) and you will get the current (Amps).
