washing machine has power, makes the right noises, but the drum inside isnt moving, ive tried it on all the cycles.
need help fast ...have pukey kids ......need washing machine

I am also having similar problems. my machine is an electrolux aqualux 1000 iv had the top n back off n checked the belt which seems 2 b fine and in place but it slips when the machine starts a cycle! can any1 help on the matter????

Drum is driven by a belt, in the back of the machine, which runs from motor to drum, If making correct motor noises, belt could have come off, or broke, top or preferably back off to fix. Sometimes top has to come off to get back off, 2 or 3 screws under back edge of top. top should then slide off to the back a short distance before lifting off. BUT they all vary, any more info needed, you will have to give more info. make model etc.
