hi, my samsung tv has a headset on the volume control, but we have nothing connected to headset port and also no sound. we tried to reset the tv but it won't let us also tried taking all the leads out an putting them in again etc. anyone any ideas as to whats happening?

hi, i have tried leaving tv switched off and alsoplugging a headset in but it never solved the problem also when the headset was in there was no sound from the headset either. someone thought maybe the circuit board??

you could try unplug the tv over night, or for 3 or 4 hours to power it down, and then try it, just make sure that there is no dirth ect in the headset port at the back of the tv, that would turn the headset to ON, try pluging the headset in, and see if they work, this will also unblock any dirth ect in there. but i would try powering it down, and see if it will clear this setting..
