how to fix sat nav problem on my Lexus IS220d SE 2006?

Screen reads " cannot read programe please contact dealer, they want nearly £4000 to replace it !!!!

I would think that the operating system is corrupt, similar to a pc crash, it would need to be reflashed, not replaced. BUT you may need specialist equipment to do it. You may also be able to do it from a pc. Not sure. But 4K rip off
Or buy a cheap tom tom
