diplomat adp8352 three flashing lights?

i have a diplomat adp8352 dishwasher, its showing three red flashing lights on the programe display unit(first three lights)had a repair man out and he told me the brain of the dishwasher had gone and told me i would be better to buy a new one off him because it would cost over £200 to fix it.is there a way to fix it because im a disabled person and need it

hi, mr archer,a series of flashing lights and beeps would suggest a error code, lights that are lit but not flashing would suggest a bad pcb/brain/or damage to the wiring.if the pcb reset didn't work try this =unplug the appliance and take off the inspection cover below the door ,.see if it is full of water,if it is use a sponge and dry everything out.get back to us with your findings.

try getting a second opinion .check your local paper for another engineer ,try find one with no call out fee and post his diagnosis we would all like to know on here thnx and good luck.

hi,the first three flashing led,s suggest a leak into the undertray,it can also be connected to a blocked filter.try pressing the program cycle button 4 times quickly ,all lights should go out, then lights 1 and 5 should appear flashing,.switch appliance off, then close door,.wait a few seconds and power machine on . if the appliance starts working it probably won't get through the cycle before it aborts showing same error code.iam assuming that the engineer had the appliance out ,had the back off to check for leaks ?.if he hadn't then I don't see how he could say the timer/pcb was at fault.you didn't mention in your discription any audiable beeps??usually in pulses of 10 .
