was there an answer to the original question as i am looking for the same thing, spares / parts for a Gener.8 BU/XY542743 i am looking for a replacement steam jet nozzle as mine has broken apart.

Can I ask what the problem is with the iron and where you purchased it from as I have one that spontaneously caught fire whilst in use.
