How can I eject a trapped CD from the Disk Drive in emachines EL1352? Is there a reset button on the outside, if so where? Or is there a reset button in the interior and, likewise, exaectly where. The Disc Drive has had a lot of use - has it had enough and given up in retribution?

look carefully around the outer edge of the drive,usually bottom left,can you see a small hole? not the headphone jack smaller ,this is so you can insert a prong to manually open the tray. if yours hasn't ,then you will have to remove the drive from the pc.the drive may have faild electronically or it may be something simple like the disc ejector band has snapped .check out ebay for ide and sata drives ,if yours is ide then you can pick um up for peanuts ,cheap,
