start with open computer, rht click on drive/properties/disk cleanup, select all items, except search (the bottom one) clean up, also turn of disk indexing, might speed up searches, but slows every thing else. and how often do you need to search for a specific file. Then do a search, for all temp files, use '*.tmp' delete them all. You will probably find 1 or 2 will not delete, they are current log files, so just leave them but delete every thing else.
