reinstall hard drive?

fix driver
april, December 2011
There are NO drivers for your hard drive, whatever the kind: ATA, SATA, SCSI, internal or external.
There never where any, and there are no more now.

If you have a SCSI drive, you need a driver for the SCSI INTERFACE, not the drive itself.

Your BIOS may have lost the needed informations.
Boot the computer, and while the POST screen is on, hit the del or the indicated Fn key.
Navigate around to find where you can ask the BIOS to identify the installed hard drives and CD/DVD/blueray units.

Save the settings and exit.
