I recently drained and recharged my boiler / radiators to change a TRV and get alot of air out of my rads. But since then I have had no water running though my hot water taps. My central heating system is working fine. One odd thing that does happen, through checking all my valves, I tried my shower which does run water - cold, but it runs. While the shower is running, I can actually get water running through my taps, but again cold water.

I would be most obliged if someone could point me in the right direction with this one.

are you sure you have turn on the inlet ball fix on cold water inlet to boiler you may have turned this or other isolating valve on cold water main while using filling loop. the cold water mains in shower is comming through hot mixer back to hot taps as there is no resistance.
